Georgian English Naval Dirk by Read Portsmouth

A stunning Georgian English Naval Dirk gilt brass construction, the hilt with floral decoration and flowing cross guard with langets embossed with acorns. The blade engraved with G R and royal crown plus trophies of arms all surrounded by floral designs. The scabbard is engraved on side with marine creators and King Neptune in his chariot pull by sea horse, the reverse with matching floral engraving matching the hilt plus makers details Read Portsmouth c 1800. Overall length 14 inches the blade 14 inches please note chain hand guard missing
