English Queen Anne Tipstaff c 1700

Very rare and early tipstaff or truncheon, curved wood with brass cap. The main body with large oval plate engraved with A R – Anne Regina. Below a smaller plate with number 2 all plates and cap secured with brass nails. Some small age marks but in very good condition overall length 33cm
