Dutch Naval Officer’s Sword

Dutch M 1882 naval officers sword with bright finished heavy pipe back blade, etched in panels on both sides and on the blade spine. The panels have different motives. Both panels are showing a Man O’war and a fouled anchor under a crown. Blade is marked Yzerhouwer on one side and the German makers logo of Horster complete with scabbard and correct Officer’s knot Overall length 100cm 39.5 inches blade 86cm 34 inches
