British Naval Flag Rank Officer’s Unofficial Pattern Sword, the blade etched with crowned Royal Arms, fouled anchor and foliage, regulation gilt brass mounts, guard with crowned fouled anchor surrounded by a laurel wreath, folding side guard, lion head pommel, wire bound white fish skin covered grip, bullion dress knot, in its leather scabbard with regulation mounts, in an oilskin sword bag with outer leather transit bag note stitching damage. The sword in excellent condition, some age wear, retains approximately 95% original gilding retailed by Pulford and Sons, of 65, St. James’s-street, in the county of London, Tailors and Military Outfitters.
