British Naval 1856 Midshipmen Dirk named to J Harriss. This example with the wider and shorter blade 30.5cm in length and 3.5cm in width engraved with V R Crown and Royal Coat of Arms to one side the reverse with Crown and fouled anchor plus owners name and floral decoration. The hilt gilt brass with lion head pommel and fish skin grip secured by brass wire.Complete with black leather scabbard with matching mounts.
