British Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword

British Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword with stirrup hilt D shaped langets, extended back strap and leather grip bound with silver wire. The flat blade curved no fuller becoming double edged for the last 11 inches. It is engraved on both sides one side with A faithful servant in the hand off the brave and the reverse Often drawn in the defence of my country but never returned without glory both is different scripts please see images. Complete with matching steel scabbard.
