British 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword

British 1796 Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword steel hilt with faceted backstop, pommel and guard. Two ears on back strap securing the wire bound grip with twisted silver wire all in good condition. The curved long blade single edged plain and in good condition it is complete with matching steel scabbard with 2 loose rings.
