1788 – 1796 Light Cavalry Sword

1788 pattern light cavalry sword, German engraved blade with various symbols including Mounted Hussar, blade marked Solingen The British Cavalry Sword 1788 – 1912 book for reference. The hilt is more in the style of a 1796 however heavier construction with a ribbed leather covered wooden grip with odd age worm holes but all solid. Complete with iron scabbard with central section ctop mount with cross pattern design and top ring missing. Overall length 95cm blade 83cm
