Scottish Georgian Military Dirk by Hunter possibly to the 74th Highlanders. Gilt brass scabbard and fitting highly engraved with Scottish pattern, roses and thistles plus crown to pommel. The blade well etched again this thistles crown and floral decoration, the reverse of the scabbard engraved with G Hunter &Co 25 Princes Street Edinburgh. G Hunter worked between 1797 and 1822 it is complete with matching knife and fork again both pommels engraved with thistles.
