Gill London with browned twist octagonal barrels engraved ‘ London’ along the top flat at the breech, patent breeches each with two brass lines and brass-lined touch-hole, foliate engraved tangs each incorporating a back-sight, signed engraved flat bevelled locks each with French cock, safety-catch, rainproof pan and roller, figured walnut full stocks with chequered rounded butts, iron mounts retaining traces of original blueing including trigger-guards each with pineapple finial and engraved with a Britannia shield against foliage on the bow, vacant silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and original horn-tipped ramrods each with iron worm: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with some accessories including 3 way powder-flask, the exterior of the lid with brass flip up handle plate engraved G A Welch Esq Arle Lodge near Cheltenham,
