This is a 44 calibre six shot revolver, it has an 8 inch octagonal barrel, and the loading lever has a channel cut along the top to allow the cylinder pin to be drawn forward without lowering the lever, this example has had a screw fitted to the channel, the cylinder has been converted to take a metallic cartridge, and is marked R.YOUNG 1903, some staining to the metalwork, but sound working order.
